Design, inspection and control of fire protection systems
Petrillo Office technicians are responsible for design, testing and certification of these fire protection systems in accordance with European and international standards (UNI, NFPA, FM Global, etc.):
- Coils and hydrants
- Water extinguishing systems (sprinklers);
- Systems for extinguishing foam, gas, aerosol, water mist;
- Smoke and heat exhaust systems (natural and forced)
- Fire detection
- Gas detection
Simulation of active protection systems
In order to evaluate the efficiency of the whole active protection system with all its components, our technicians use sophisticated software supports which, using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) models, simulate the fire and the stopping or containment times of the same, in accordance with the engineering principles of Fire Safety Engineering.
Control of documents required by law
In order to assess the conformity of the fire codes and the equipment of the technical standards, we carry out checks by legal documents (declarations of conformity, CE marking, design documents, test certificates).
